We’re looking for a Content Developer that has an inherent sense of curiosity and a desire to tell compelling stories about unexpected subjects. They must be able to juggle a number of brand voices and guidelines seamlessly, and contribute to the development of those voices based on business objectives and best practices. A professional outlook is also required to handle any copy amendments requested by the client, with the ability to handle critique with grace. This role will work with the Strategic Planner and Digital Marketing Manager to craft content strategy, schedules, and produce content that brings client satisfaction. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and understand the intertwining nature of all roles in executing a marketing strategy. An effective Content Developer needs a creative mind alongside an organized strategic approach and the ability to think laterally and literally. In this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you must work well under pressure while maintaining a sense of pride and integrity in your work. A strong sense of grammar and an understanding of the role SEO plays in the development of successful marketing content are important to bring to the role. The success of this position is measured by assessing the quality of written work along with production efficiency.

Content Development
- Create content strategy
- Ideation of content types
- Long-form content development, including research
- Collaboration w/Art Director & Digital Marketing Manager
Quality Control
- Proofing, including copy, design and objective achievement
- Ensuring brand strategy alignment
- Maintaining and adhering to brand guidelines
Extras
- Assist with brand/campaign messaging strategy
- Assist in content entry for website development
- Work collaboratively internally and with clients, with the support of the Account Executive & Digital Marketing Manager

Qualifications
- 2+ years of relatable writing experience, preferably with a journalistic marketing approach
- A strong portfolio of writing samples
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Strong interpersonal skills and polished presentation abilities
- Confident interviewing skills
- Familiarity with SEO best practices
- The desire to stand out and shine on a small team of talented professionals
- Strong copy skills (spelling, punctuation, grammar and writing style)
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Ability to take and give constructive feedback and critique
- A passion for creativity, appreciation for strategy and profound curiosity

Compensation & Benefits
- Full-Time salary of $50,000
- Benefits contribution of 30%
