The copywriter must have an inherent sense of curiosity and a desire to tell compelling stories in surprising ways about unexpected subjects. You must be able to juggle a number of brand voices and guidelines seamlessly, and contribute to the development of those voices based on business objectives and best practices. A professional outlook is also required to handle any copy amendments requested by the client, with the ability to handle critique with grace. You will work with the art director in order to construct effective creative work that brings client satisfaction. A successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and understand the intertwining nature of all roles in executing a marketing strategy. An effective copywriter needs a creative mind alongside an organized strategic approach and the ability to think laterally and literally. In this fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, you must work well under pressure while maintaining a sense of pride and integrity in their work. As this role includes proofreading duties, a strong sense of grammar and ability to adhere to a variety of styles and style guides is important. 

At Luminus, we take a comprehensive approach to branding. Copy can’t just be pithy - it has to support the larger brand. It can be out-of-the-box as long as it still fits inside the brand. In this role, you will work closely with the whole team - there are no silos here, and egos are kept in check. Creative Production
- Brainstorming & ideation
- Creative writing & execution
- Cooperation w/creative team
Quality Control
- Proofing, including copy, design and objective achievement
- Strategy alignment
- Maintaining and adhering to brand guidelines
- Assist with content development
- Assist in website architecture planning
- Present your work internally and to clients, with the support of the Account Executive, ACD & Art Director as needed


- 3+ years of relatable writing experience, preferably in a creative agency setting
- A strong portfolio of relevant writing samples
- A solid understanding of marketing principles and best practices
- Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Strong interpersonal skills and polished presentation abilities
- The desire to stand out and shine on a small team of talented professionals
- Strong copy skills (spelling, punctuation, grammar and writing style)
- Solid oral and written communication skills
- Ability to take and give constructive feedback and critique
- A passion for creativity, appreciation for strategy and profound curiosity

Compensation & Benefits
- Full-Time salary of $50,000
- Benefits contribution of 30%
- Retirement contribution matched in full to 3%
- 20 Days of PTO / Year
