Description

Crowley Webb is seeking a digital content strategist who is well-versed in web content writing, SEO strategy, content marketing strategy, social media strategy, and audience pathways to conversion. The ideal candidate must be a superior communicator and have experience working in a fast-paced and innovative environment that values collaboration and diversity.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conceive, plan, lead, and execute the content strategy efforts of websites, email campaigns, content marketing campaigns, and social media campaigns
  • Lead the development of onsite and offsite SEO strategies for all agency clients
  • Write, edit, and optimize content for digital channels
  • Conduct content audits (qualitative analyses of all content on a network of sites and social media accounts) as well as gap analyses
  • Review and analyze site structures and content to ensure quality and alignment with SEO objectives
  • Create SEO writing guides for various clients
  • Facilitate workshops with clients based on content gathering and messaging needs
  • Establish user pathways to lead to conversions for clients’ goals
  • Create and manage content migration plans and content editorial calendars for digital projects
  • Monitor and review web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates)
  • Create and execute on informed and impactful social media strategies for agency and clients
  • Follow industry-related news, generate ideas around trending topics, and identify and utilize best-in-class tools to achieve objectives

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, communications, journalism, English, or a related field
  • Four or more years of professional experience in strategizing, executing, and managing digital content strategy campaigns for various digital channels
  • Knowledge of web writing, information architecture, SEO, email marketing, content marketing, social media, web design best practices, user experience methodologies, and Google Analytics
  • Proficiency in user experience principles, methodologies, trends, and best practices
  • A self-starter who’s passionate, motivated, and hardworking
  • A firm grasp of data analysis and various performance metrics/tools
  • Ability to compellingly communicate a brand story and a design sensibility to envision how content will be presented or distributed in formats other than text-based article
  • A portfolio of successful work examples
  • Knowledge of WordPress a plus
  • Basic understanding of HTML and web publishing a plus
  • Expert with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools (e.g. Moz, SEMrush and Google Keyword Planner)
  • Experience using social media for business
  • Solid writing and editing skills
