Freelance Graphic Designer

OLV Charities is looking for a talented, reliable freelance designer we can reach out to when we need extra help with creative work!

OLV Charities is a non-profit that continues Father Nelson Baker’s legacy of caring by raising money for our mission partners, so they can continue to help the people in the Western New York Community who need it most. The selected freelance designer(s) would be working with our Creative Team to produce designed pieces that support OLV Charities, OLV Human Services, OLV National Shrine & Basilica, Camp Turner, Mazurek’s Bakery, and more.

Ideal candidates for us would:

• Be familiar with laying out direct mail, signage, various print projects, social posts, and digital ads.
• Have experience with Adobe Creative Suite, mainly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Be based in the Buffalo/Western New York area.
• Have an up-to-date online portfolio we can view (a website or downloadable PDF is fine).
• Have around 3+ years of design experience (experience working in marketing/advertising or freelancing for a marketing/advertising agency is a plus). Those with less experience but stellar portfolios may still be considered so don’t be afraid to apply!
• Be detail oriented.
• Have great communication skills.
• Be used to managing and sticking to deadlines.
• Be open to feedback and possible rounds of revisions.
• Have a great attitude!
